Catholic Evangelization in the United States

"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age." -Matthew 28:19-20

Only when the faith life of young people is alive and active will they want to share the love of Jesus with others. This is why evangelization is at the heart of the church's life. Through faith-based programs coordinated by the National Catholic Committee for Girl Scouts and Camp Fire, young people are offered opportunities to develop and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and a community of believers.
